Leaders lead by allowing people to move, they have the power to motivate their people to take new tasks and be challenged with new opportunities. On the other hand, we have the managers. Managers, are similar to leaders, themselves, however, differ in the way they lead or direct their people. Managers do not advocate change. They train their people to be specific and abide the rules or principles that were already made. Leadership training and management training may differ in the way they handle their people, but both have one common goal in the end: to succeed in their main objectives.
In leadership alone, the leader may create a new vision for his or her people to follow, forgetting to notice how his new plan may work out. In management alone, the manager may be too focused in keeping up with the rules and not provide much change to his people, thus creating a monotonous outcome. However, the best type of training is combining the two sets of trainings. Leadership and management training when forces combined leads to a fresh and productive outcome in the end.
